  • What is the difference between granite and quartz?

Granite is a natural stone that usually comes in varying colors and patterns and can even change from slab to slab, whereas quartz is a man-made material that is very uniform in color and pattern.

  • Is granite more expensive or affordable than quartz?

Both granite and quartz can come at varying, expensive, and affordable prices. The main difference is what can make granite or quartz more expensive, for example, since granite is a natural stone only found in mountains, it can increase in price due to its rarity in the world, whereas since quartz is man-made, price increases can be attributed to demand.

  • Is granite or quartz more popular?

Quartz has been greatly increasing in popularity throughout the past few years due to the clean and sleek look that it provides a kitchen, however, granite can do just as much of a wonderful job bringing different colors and patterns together to create contrast in the kitchen.

  • Are granite and quartz cared for in the same fashion?

No, granite needs to be re-sealed every year with a sealant that can be bought at your local Home Depot, however, the shine on the granite will last a lifetime if it is cared for properly. On the other hand, quartz is a material that is advertised as needing no care whatsoever. Sealant is never applied to quartz, however, the shine provided by the quartz is likely to fade within a decade.

  • How long does installation take?

If you are happy with the estimated price, we ask for a 50% deposit on the project in order to get the material and have our guys begin fabricating. From the date of the deposit, we ask for a minimum of 7–10 days to have the entire kitchen installed.

  • What does the estimate include?

The price on each estimate includes the template, fabrication, and installation of the countertops and vanities.
