Juliana Laignier grew up in Brazil where her family owns a quarry which produces some of the world's most beautiful and unique granite. Juliana moved to the United States and in 1995, she opened a fabrication company, Stone World Granite and Marble.
Juliana Laignier is very hands on in her Stone World. She goes to Brazil to personally pick the blocks of Marble and Granite. Once polished the blocks are put on a boat and sent back to America. Shipping the blocks directly from the family owned quarry to her family owned Bensalem Granite and Marble showroom allows Stone World Marble and Granite to provide a very good price that is comfortable for everyone.
Stone World proudly hails a state of the art fabrication facility on site. Their fabricators, polishers, finishers and installers are not just fully trained - they are what you would probably call Master Craftsmen. The equipment these master craftsmen have is top of the line to provide the cleanest cuts and the highest quality of finished product.
The Stone World Marble and Granite Showroom is open Monday through Saturday. In order to provide personal contractor service, Saturday is by appointment only. Feel free to stroll around the yard to see the wide array slabs. The selection might be a bit overwhelming, but the sales staff will be on hand to explain and provide information about the colors, installation and care of the granite countertop. Be sure to check out the red granite, mined from the family quarry, the color is unique to the location! Stunning!!!
Once you have chosen and reserved your slab. The team will get to work, getting a template of your countertop to match the perfect size and shape for your contractor project. It will take approximately five or six days to cut the stone, fabricate the counters with the edging you select, and then to install the beautiful stone right where you always thought it should be.
Stone World is also capable of developing monuments according to the customer's specifications.
Stone World just delivered 72 pieces of granite for the erection of two WWI Memorials on Huntingdon Pike between Rockledge and Philadelphia. The piece dimensions vary form 4.2' x 4' x 6" to small pieces with engraved detailing. The Inauguration of this Monument is scheduled for November 11, 2008 at 3:00pm.
